FIRST FILLING
4.4 –
Once the machine has been started, the electronic system will
make sure the water level in the tank and boiler is sufficient to
ensure correct operation of the machine.
If the water tank is empty, an alarm is displayed (red light on the
panel of light flashing and acoustic signal ON) telling the user to
fill the tank in question. The heating element is not enabled in
this phase.
At this point the machine needs to reach the nominal pressure
of 8 bar, visible on the pressure gauge (2) before being able to
start any operation.
5 – FUNCTIONS
Once the machine has reached the working pressure of 8 bar;
easy to recognise by the green light on the panel of lights (6) the
hose (1.a) needs to be inserted in the socket (1) making sure it
is perfectly hooked.
WARNING - the machine should not be
dragged by the hose to prevent malfunction
problems.
If the machine needs to be moved, lift it and move it using the
specific handle; steam is delivered by pressing the trigger in the
lower part of the hose handle (1.a). The steam flow/delivery can
be regulated by using knob (2) located on the front of the
machine. During the delivery phase the blue light on the front
panel of lights will be on.
WARNING - if the machine is pressurised with
the green light on and steam does not come
out when the trigger is pressed, check that the
knob for adjusting the steam flow is not
completely closed.

7 – FINAL OPERATIONS
SWITCHING OFF
7.1 -
When you have finished using the steam cleaner it is necessary
to wait until the pump has restored the correct water level in the
boiler before turning off the machine, in order to protect the
heating element. Operation of the pump emits a sound that can
be heard clearly. Once this has been done, turn the general
switch (2) to "0" to shut off the power supply.
EN
CLEANING
7.2 –
Cleaning the accessories at the end of machine use is an
indispensable and obligatory operation that makes it possible to
keep the machine in perfect working order and prevent deposits
in the hose, extension tubes and in the accessories in general.
A lack of machine maintenance and cleaning, aside from being
unsanitary, may cause bad odours.
8 – MAINTENANCE
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
8.1 –
To ensure proper operation of the machine over time it is
necessary to perform a few simple operations in order to protect
the most sensitive elements.
BOILER MAINTENANCE
In order to periodically discharge the water and any deposits of
material that can form in the boiler, it is necessary to drain it. To
do this it is necessary to:
•
make sure the machine is cold, not pressurised and placed
on a even surface;
•
unscrew the drain nut (9) located on the bottom of the
machine, using the specific key supplied with the machine;
•
let the water and any deposits in the boiler drain out;
•
close the boiler drain nut (9).
TANK MAINTENANCE
If the cleaner is left unused for a long time it is advisable to
remove the water present in the tank, thus preventing the
formation of mould and deposits.
EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
8.2 –
•
In the event of a fault and/or malfunction contact the
closest assistance centre or the manufacturer. Any
unauthorised intervention invalidates the warranty and can
be source of danger.
•
Never try to dismantle/open the machine. Contact the
Assistance Centre or Customer Service.
•
Always make sure that the power cord and socket are not
damaged. If they need to be replaced it is advisable to
contact the closest assistance centre.
9 – RESIDUAL RISKS
There are residual risks that were not possible to eliminate
during the designing phase.
These risks are listed below:
•
risk of getting burned in the lower part of the machine if the
safety valve opens due to a fault. Do not put your face near
the safety valve outlet drain located near the bottom part of
the machine.
LIGHT
•
Do not disconnect the power cord with wet hands. Risk of
COLOUR
electrocution.
green
•
blue
Risk of fires/explosions if the machine is used in a
potentially explosive ambient.
red
•
Do not direct the jet of steam towards electrical parts due
to risk of damaging them or electrocution.
•
Do not direct the jet of steam or machine accessories
towards the parts of your body due to risk of burning.
10 – WARRANTY
The steam cleaner is under warranty for 1 year from the date of
purchase against manufacturing defects and material defects, 2
years if for domestic use. The warranty is valid if accompanied
by the receipt or stamp of the retailer with the purchase date.
The warranty covers the replacement or repair free of charge of
parts or components of the machine due to defects at the source
WARNING - Turn off the power supply only
when the sound emitted by the pump has
stopped.
