Safety rules – Precaution for use :
Maintenance of this equipment must be carried out by qualified personnel.
This device must be connected to the mains power supply (100-240V AC).
Its installation must comply with the European standard IEC 60364.
A 10 amps circuit breaker (phase + neutral) must be installed in the supply
line and must be easily accessible. The circuit breaker must be switched off
during maintenance operation.
Do not power on the device until the installation is completed.
The wires of each terminal block must be attached to each other to maintain
the various isolations if any wire is released.
1 - meCHANICAL INSTALLATION (FIg. 1)
The temperature radio transmitter is to be installed in the pool technical
room near the water pipes.
Do not mount the controller on a metal surface such as steel beam.
To install the controller on its location, open the case lid and use the 4
screws and wall plugs.
Insert the probes in their thermowells installed on the water pipes.
2 - INSTALLATION OF THe THeRmOWeLL
- Once the position of the thermowell has been determined, drill a hole (Ø
19 mm) through the drain suction pipe then thread it with a 1/2 CG hand tap.
- Screw in the thermowell using Teflon thread seal tape. Do not tighten the
thermowell all the way leave a 2 to 3 mm gap (see the installation diagram).
- Before inserting the temperature probe fill the thermowell with thermal
grease to ¾ of its volume to ensure a good thermal conductivity.
- The temperature is taken in the suction line (after the bottom drain and
skimmer valve) in which the water temperature corresponds to that of the
pool surface (the coldest water).
- Measuring the temperature in the return lines that fill the pool is not
recommended because it would require emptying the pool to remove the
pressure.
3 - eLeCTRICAL INSTALLATION (FIg.: 2)
Connect the power supply, 100 to 240 V 50-60 Hz to the terminal (B),
figure 2.
Connect the temperature probes to the terminal blocks (T), brown wire to (-)
and white wire to (+).
The probes come with a 5-meter long cable. The length of the cable can be
extended up to 100 meters.
4 - SeTTINgS (FIg.: 2)
Settings consist of addressing the probes and are done by means of 2 DIP
switches.
Open the case and locate the DIP labeled (D) on fig.2.

L1-Red: HF data transmission
