Operation
Check the winch for damage before every use. Do not use a winch with visible

Operation Procedure for Pulling a Vehicle
1. Block the vehicle's wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
2. Put the vehicle in neutral gear and release the hand brake.
3. Pull out the winch cable to the required length. Always leave three wraps of cable on the spindle.
4. Hook the winch to an anchor point.
5. Before hooking the vehicle, make sure the distance between the vehicle and the winch is minimal. Hook the
vehicle using a tow strap. Do not wrap the cable around the anchor point.
6. Move the lever up and down to pull the vehicle. Pull with great care as the cable should be tightened and
not be slack.
5.2
Extending the Cable
1. Secure the hook [1b] to a solid and rigid anchor point [a]. Pull the spring [5] in the direction of the
arrow (see A).
2. Release the latch [4] on the ratchet [3] by pushing the lever. Firmly hold the lever.
3. Press the stop pawl [2] (see B). Pull on the winch to slacken the cable to the required length.
5.3
Pulling a Load or Applying Tension
1. Release the stop pawl [2].
2. Press the spring [5] in the direction of the arrow (see A) to place the latch [4] onto the ratchet [3].
3. Secure the second hook [1a] to the load to pull [b].
4. Each stroke of the lever will wind the cable and pull the load.
