o Do not place the kettle on hot surfaces otherwise it
may melt.
o Only use the kettle with the corresponding base
supplied.
o Remove the kettle from the base to fill it up. Only
fill it with water, not milk, coffee or similar drinks
or liquids.
o If you overfill or if it you use it when the lid is not
on properly, the boiling water can spray out.
o Only use the kettle on a stable surface and never
immerse it in water.
o The kettle has a safety temperature limiter, which
switches the kettle off automatically if it is used
without any water in it. If this should happen, un-
plug the kettle from the mains and let the kettle
cool down before filling it with water.
o Before using the kettle for the first time, fill it with
water and let it boil. You should then pour this wa-
ter away.
o Before removing the kettle from its base make
sure that it has turned itself off automatically. If
this does not happen, turn it off by hand.
o Do not use the appliance if the cable, switch or
other components are damaged. Only qualified
