USER MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing the Tent Kit for your
Petromax Loki!
With this passage you can guide the flue of the
Loki safely through the canvas of your tent.
We are convinced that you will be delighted
with your Tent Kit as with this practical tool
you can place the loki safely and permanently
in your tent.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Please read this user manual carefully
before using the product for the first time.
Follow the safety instructions. If the product
is given to another person, this user manual
must also be given to that person.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Once you have erected your tent it is time to
position your Loki at the position you desire.
Please make sure not to block the tent ent-
rance.
• It is easier to fit the Loki tent kit with two
people; however, it is possible to do it alone.
• For installing the Loki tent kit you need the
following tools: Knife, awl, wrench.
• We recommend that you complete prepara-
tions such as cutting the hole into the canvas
at home before starting your camping trip.
The diameter of the Loki flue is 2.4 in. Thus,
the upper level of the silicone collar has to be
cut off by means of a cutter knife.

• Think carefully about where you want your
Loki to stand before installing the tent kit.

The position of the Loki depends on where
the hole for the tent kit has been cut into the
canvas. For safety reasons, make sure never
to obstruct the tent entrance.
• Make sure that the Loki is at least 1m (three
flues) away from the silicone collar otherwise
it may corrode due to the heat of the Loki.
• Never use the tent kit without the flue being
completely pushed through.
• If you are lighting your Loki for the first time
please make sure that your shelter is well ven-
tilated as the Loki will evaporate fumes while
burning off some manufacturing residue.
The fumes will disappear very quickly with
the heat increasing in the Loki. Please refer
to the user manual of your Loki.

INSTRUCTION
1. Align the flue with the inner ring, and then
position the outer gasket on the outside of
your tent/yurt. Once the tent kit has been
placed in position, insert an awl or a similar
tool through the holes in the outer ring, the
silicone sealing collar and then through the
canvas for the bolt fitment to go in. Use the
tent kit as template. (Figure 2)
