This unit contains a recharge-
able battery that is built into the
handle unit (7). The recharge-
able battery contains nickel
metal hydride.
Before disposing of the unit, you must
first remove the rechargeable battery
and dispose of it separately. Ensure
that the rechargeable battery is fully
discharged.
First, remove the brush head. Then
loosen the screw on the bottom of the
handle unit.
Lever the bottom out of the handle
unit using a screwdriver.
Turn the unit over and set the vibrat-
ing axis on a hard surface.
Lever the two latches that are now
visible towards the centre of the
housing and press the housing
downwards. You can now remove
the rechargeable batteries. Ensure
that the soldered cords are discon-
nected individually with pliers.
