3.2 Heating on/off

Press the
button to put your appliance in heating mode.
Press the
button again to switch to NO-HEAT mode. The icon
pears on the screen.

3.3 Operating mode selection

With its COMFORT, ECO and FROST PROTECTION operating modes, the
appliance adapts to suit your needs.
In AUTOMATIC mode, the thermostat operates to mode commands received
via a pilot wire unit or a PLC unit (6 commands possible).
The BOOST function instructs the appliance to heat continuously for a preset
period of up to 90 minutes. This function can be set to operate at the same time every
day using the BOOSTPROG function.
Switch between modes by pressing the + and – buttons simultaneously.
COMFORT MODE INDICATOR
This mode should be used when the room is occupied (default temperature:
19°C). Temperature is adjustable between 7 and 28°C by pressing the + and – buttons.
ECO MODE INDICATOR
This mode should be used for periods of absence. It is recommended for
periods of absence longer than 2 hours (default temperature: 15.5°C). The default
ECO mode temperature is your chosen COMFORT mode temperature minus 3.5°C.
FROST PROTECTION
MODE INDICATOR
This mode should be used when the room is unoccupied for long periods. It is
recommended for periods of absence longer than 24 hours (non-adjustable tempera-
ture: 7°C).

A box around this symbol indicates that the appliance is controlled by a Power-
line Carrier unit not supplied (temperature is only set from your heating appliance).
AUTO MODE INDICATOR
(PILOT WIRE)
If there is no box, the appliance is controlled by a Pilot Wire programming base
unit not supplied (temperature is only set from your heating appliance).
NOTE: A NO-HEAT or FROST PROTECTION mode command from a program-
ming base unit overrides the COMFORT, ECO and FROST PROTECTION
operating modes described above.

3.4 BOOST Function

This function allows you to operate your appliance at full power for a preset
period. Press the Boost button to initiate this function from any mode except NO-
HEAT mode.

to a period of between 15 and 90 minutes.
The time remaining will scroll across the display until the end of the preset
period.
Press the Boost button at any time to exit this function. The ON and
disappear.

3.5 BOOSTPROG Function

Use this function to activate the BOOST at a set time every day. Once it is
set, the BOOSTPROG function will cut in every day, 30 minutes before the time the
appliance is due to be activated the first time.
Launch the BOOST function and set the timer duration (see section 3.3), then
keep the Boost button pressed for 5 seconds until the
