infrared radiator unit you have purchased. In order to be able to best experience the effects of new
technology in the field of infrared radiator technology, the following points need to be taken into
consideration.
General information
Alkari infrared radiators (also referred to as ∙IR∙) operate according to the principle of radiation heat,
not the convection heat principle. It may be necessary to warm the objects (furniture, walls, ceilings
and floors) that are cold during the first operation. In case an appropriate temperature cannot be
adjusted immediately after the operation, leave the infrared radiator for several hours, if necessary,
for 1 to 2 days. Then a suitable room climate will quickly develop. Alter that, the working time of the
infrared radiator can be reduced the most. For a most efficient and energy saving heating performance
of Alkari IRH we recommend the use of our high quality Thermostats.
Intended Use
Alkari IR devices are designed to be used as additional ceiling radiator or additional wall radiator
according to usage types. The following safety and installation rules must also be taken into
consideration for the intended use of the product, especially during the first start‐up.
