11.3 - HOW TO STOP THE SOFTENER
If the softener has not been used for a period longer than 10-14 days, it is necessary to unplug the
power supply, close the on-off valves before and after the system and open the by-pass gate valve
(see installation drawings at sections 9.2 – 9.3).
After this non-use period, connect the power supply again, open the on-off valves before and after the
system and close the by-pass gate valve.
Carry out a manual regeneration. To launch this operation, press key

For a proper working of the softener, periodically carry out the following operations:

Cleaning of the brine tank
Check and refill of salt
in the brine tank
Check of the hardness of
the produced water

Check of the exact time
on the timer

During start up, according to the

suitable frequency for this inspection.
