Step 5. Electrical Connections
 Vacuum Pump – The vacuum pump is powered through the CentriVap's controls. If
not equipped, attach a reverse IEC connector to the power cord of the vacuum pump
so it can plug into the back of the concentrator.
 CentriVap Concentrator – Plug the CentriVap into the electrical outlet that matches the
rating shown on the label (lower-rear).
Testing or Start Up
Step 6. Testing the System
 Turn the CentriVap power switch ON.
 Close the lid on the CentriVap
 Close the lid on the Cold Trap (if equipped)
 Press the Run/Stop button
 Once the CentriVap attains speed the vacuum pump should start automatically
 To stop the CentriVap and vent, press the Run/Stop button
 If the CentriVap or Cold Trap fails to perform as expected, consult the User's Manuals
for troubleshooting information or call Labconco.
