1. Fold the water cascade up.
2. Remove the tank from the base plate.
3. Rinse the tank with tap water.
– Carefully set down the tank so that the glass does not break.
– When cleaning, check the tank for leaks.
– Completely remove any residual water from the tank.
4. After cleaning, place the tank back on the base plate and fold the water cascade back down.
Replacing the filter cartridge
For optimum water quality, you should replace the filter cartridge every three to four weeks. The filter
cartridge is commercially available under the name EasyCrystal FilterPack C100 and reference EAN
4004218211841.

5. Pull out the filter cartridge from the filter holder.
6. Remove the filter cartridge. Then attach the new filter cartridge to the filter holder.
– Make sure that the filter is the right way up.
7. Place the filter back in the filter housing.
– Make sure that the filter is the right way up.
Cleaning the pump
If the pump is clogged up due to foreign particles, it must be cleaned. Use a small tool to pull out the
pump components e.g. pointed pliers with 5-mm-wide jaws or tweezers.
Conditions:
• The aquarium is disconnected from the mains. The pump is not running.
• The water cascade has been folded up and the tank has been removed from the base plate.

1. Remove the pump.
2. Remove the pump cover from the top of the pump housing.
3. Remove the impeller cover from the top of the pump housing.
4. Pull the impeller out of the pump housing.
– Use a small tool if necessary.
5. Rinse all components in tap water.
6. After cleaning, replace all components and the pump in the reverse order.
– Carefully press the pump cover onto the pump housing.
– Finally, press the pump back onto the holder on the filter housing.
