First Use of the Machine
Clean the machine before using it for the first time as described below under
" Cleaning".
Place the machine on a suitable working surface.
Handling
1. Set the cutting strength.
2. Place the food to be cut on the pusher and press it slightly in the direction
of the knife using the presser.
3. Insert the mains plug into a correctly installed safety socket.
4. Press the On/Off switch to position "1". The knife then turns.
5. Apply slight pressure to the pusher so that it runs smoothly backwards
and forwards.
A tip:
If you would like to produce particularly thin slices, moisten the
knife with a damp cloth so as to prevent the food being cut from sticking to
the knife.
Press:
This should be placed on the pusher in order to press the material
to be cut.
Important:
Do not use the machine for more than 10 minutes without
interruption.

Disconnect the machine from the mains.
•
Clean the machine after use with a slightly damp cloth. Then wipe dry.
•
The pusher and presser can be cleaned in soapy water.
•
The knife can be removed as follows for easy cleaning:
Turn the blade locking device to the right and carefully remove the blade
with a glove. Do not clean the blade in soapy water, as otherwise lubricants
will be removed. Wipe off only the outside edge with a cloth.
