Technical data
• Measuring principle: hydrostatic pressure
• Max. filling level: 300 cm fuel oil column
• Tolerance: ± 1 cm
• Power supply: 9 V block battery
Operation
• Press the red button to effect measurement.
• The filling level in cm is indicated after a short time.
• Perform a second measurement as a control check. When using the extension hose, measure several times until
the filling level is stable.
• If different results are indicated, perform further measurement.
• When the indicator flashes, change the battery.
Battery change
1. Withdraw the electronic dipstick measuring device from the velcro dot.
2. Open the battery chamber on the rear-side and remove battery.
3. Exchange battery at the connection clip.
Type of battery: 9 V block battery alkaline
4. Insert battery into the battery chamber and close cover.
5. Hang the electronic dipstick to wall bracket with rear clip

Disposal
Batteries
By the German Battery Regulation every consumer must return used batteries. Disposal as household waste is
prohibited. Batteries can be disposed free of charge at all public municipal collection points and in shops which sell
batteries.
Batteries can be labelled as follows:
• Cd (cadmium)
• Hg (mercury)
• Pb (lead)

electronic dipsticks must not be disposed as household waste. The 2002/96/EC guideline for electric and
electronic waste indicates how to dispose of and recycle such devices. Please return the electronic dipstick to a
corresponding collection point.
It is of course also possible to return batteries and electronic dispstick to your retailer.
