• Never clean it with a water jet! Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
• Never reach with your hand or an object into the feed chute. The rotating grating disc
with the special screw is dangerous: unexpected forces may develop if the machine
blocks suddenly.
• Remove vegetables that are stuck in the chute only while the machine is not running
(remove lid). Reduce the amount of vegetables in the chute; if necessary, pre-cut the
products.
• Never turn on the machine unless the lid is in place. Operating the machine without the
lid in place can be dangerous, because the sieve basket (in the event of a defect) and
the processed product can reach very high speeds and may possibly hit the operator.
• The special screw to fasten the basket is small. Hence it must not be tightened with
too much force. Tightening it with force may damage the screw and prevent the secure
mounting of the sieve basket. For this reason, this screw must always be screwed in by
hand, as tightly as possible, without using tools. During the extraction of the juice, the
screw will tighten automatically a bit more.
