Please read these instructions before using this product. They include
important safety and operation information.
WARNINGS
y NOT FOR USE ABOVE HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS
y DO NOT use in explosive atmospheres, near flammable liquids, or where
explosion proof lamps are required.
y DO NOT use in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a risk
of flammable liquids coming into contact with the flashlight.
y DO NOT expose the batteries to water or salt water, or allow the batteries
to get wet.
y DO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that may cause a short
circuit.
y Immediately discontinue use of the batteries if they emit an unusual smell,
feel hot, change color, change shape or appear abnormal in any way.
y Keep out of the reach of children.
OPERATION
The MT-230 has four light modes: momentary flashlight, low-brightness
flashlight, medium-brightness flashlight and high-brightness flashlight. The
MT-230 has a single tail-cap switch providing access to all modes.
MOMENTARY FLASHLIGHT MODE
Lightly press the tail-cap switch for momentary operation. Release the
switch to turn the light off. Because the MT-230 is a multi-function light, if the
momentary flashlight mode is activated within 2 seconds of having turned
off the flashlight, pressing the switch again will activate the next mode in the
flashlight's operation. If more than 2 seconds have elapsed since turning off
the flashlight, the low-brightness mode will be activated the next time the tail-
cap switch is pressed.
CONSTANT-ON
Press the tail-cap switch until it clicks and then release for constant-on
in low-brightness mode. Press and release the tail-cap switch again to turn
the light off. Because the MT-230 is a multi-function light, if the constant-
on flashlight mode is activated within 2 seconds of having turned off the
flashlight, pressing the switch again will activate the next mode in the
flashlight's operation. If more than 2 seconds have elapsed since turning
off the flashlight, the low-brightness mode will be activated the next time the
tail-cap switch is pressed.
SELECT BRIGHTNESS LEVEL
Press the tail-cap switch either partially (momentary mode) or until the tail-
cap switch clicks (constant-on mode) multiple times in a row, and the flashlight
will cycle to the next mode in the flashlight's operation (low-brightness,
medium-brightness and high-brightness). At that point, the next press of the
tail-cap switch (within 2 seconds) will start the flashlight's mode over again
with low-brightness. When the desired brightness level is reached, simply
stop cycling through the brightness selection process. To turn the light off
from momentary mode, simply release the tail-cap switch. To turn the light
off from constant-on mode, simply press the tail-cap switch one more time.

workmanship and materials for the original purchaser's lifetime. The Limited
Lifetime Warranty includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable
batteries, chargers, switches, electronics and included accessories are

warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and
failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and
lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be
defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

FONCTIONNEMENT
La lampe torche MT-230 propose quatre modes lumineux : éclairage
momentané, luminosité faible, luminosité moyenne et luminosité élevée.
La lampe torche MT-230 comprend un bouton sur le capuchon permettant
d'accéder à tous les modes.
