1. Pull the power plug and let the toaster cool down completely.
2. To remove the bread crumbs, pull the bread crumb drawers (J) underneath the
roasting degree controller out of the appliance. Empty the bread crumb drawers
and, if necessary, clean them with a soft, dry towel. Then, push the bread crumb
drawers all the way back into the appliance.
3. To remove bread crumbs stuck in the appliance, turn the cold toaster upside down
over a dustbin and slightly shake it to allow the crumbs to fall out.
4. Wipe the outside of the appliance clean with a slightly moist, soft towel and dry
it carefully with a dry, soft towel.
Note:
Do not use any alkaline or aggressive detergents. Also, never use metal sponges
to clean the appliance, metal parts could come off the sponge and touch electric
components in the appliance, causing an electric shock.

Keep the unplugged, cooled out and clean appliance in an upright position in a dry
place resp. on a dry work surface. Do not place anything on the toaster.
Caution:
Never use the appliance without the bread crumb drawers.
Regularly clean the bread crumb drawers. Should too many crumbs accumulate in
the toaster, a fire could start!
