IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- It is recommended to use the appliance on a electrical
installation using a differential with nominal current loss which does-
n't exceeds 30m A.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid a hazard.
- Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
- Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it
immediately.
- Do not use while bathing or showering.
- Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
- Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
- You can fixe the parts only if they cannot drop into
water.
- Do not attempt to plug or unplug unit while feet are in the water.
- An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before putting on or taking
off parts or attachments.
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by,
on, or near children, invalids or disabled persons.
- Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the supplier;
specifically any attachments not provided with the unit.
- Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug,
if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged,
or dropped into water. Return it to appropriated service center for
examination and repair.
- This appliance is designed for household use only.
- The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the
appliance should be scrapped.

Specifications
Charging unit: AC 220-240V, 50/Hz. 2W.
Rechargeable power unit: 1.2V/2.4V, max. operation time
approx. 30/45 min. when fully charged.
Notice: when the rechargeable cells are running empty the plaque
remover automatically turns off.
This protects the rechargeable cells from deep discharging. This
signals that the power unit of the plaque remover should be
charged.
Wall mount
Put the screws and screw plugs provided onto the wall
The slide the charging unit downward onto the SCREWS. Guide the
cord from the cord compartment between the wall holder and the
charging unit. Use only as much cord as you need to reach the socket.
Connecting
The charging unit can be connected to any voltage outlet -even
to shaver sockets- between 220- 240 volts AC (-).
Place the rechargeable power unit, facing the front onto the
charging base.
The green indicator will light up when the toothbrush is inserted
on the plugged in charging base.
The toothbrush may warm up somewhat during recharging. This has
no significance on the unit's operation. Over-charging is impossible.
To maintain the toothbrush's full performance, it should
always be stored on the charging base after use.
Preserving the rechargeable batteries
To maximize the capacity and life of the rechargeable batteries, they
should be fully charged for 16 hours before the first use and then fully
discharged by using Then recharge to full capacity again
This discharging/charging procedure should be done every six months.
How to use
- Before using your Plaque Remover for the first time, charge the
power unit at least 16 hours
- After the power unit has been fully charged, attach the attach-
able brush head to the power unit.
- Before doing so, you may fix one of the colored rings onto the
end of the brush head.
- The brush head must face the same direction as the switch.
- Before brushing your teeth, rinse your mouth thoroughly and wet
the brush head.
- You may use regular toothpaste. To avoid splashing, switch the
power unit on after guiding the brush head to your teeth. Then
move the brush head along the chewing surfaces of your teeth.
- Guide it along the outsides and then the insides of your teeth.
Be sure to get into the spaces between your teeth as well as
along the gum line
- You do not need to press hard To thoroughly remove plaque, brush
for at least 2 minutes.
- After cleaning your teeth, rinse your mouth thoroughly again.
During the first few days of using, your gums may bleed slightly,
particularly if they normally tend to do so. After a few days, the
bleeding will generally stop. If your gums continue to bleed after
2 weeks, you should see your dentist.
- Clinical tests have shown that the best cleaning effect is achieved
by gently moving the brush from tooth to tooth, without exerting
pressure
- A change in the shape of the brush is normal after use. This is
influenced by your individual cleaning technique, but does not affect
the efficiency of the brush.
