Before using for the first time
Remove all packaging components. Before the first use clean the appliance as described
in "Care and Cleaning" and fit the spoon holder to the appliance.
Measuring Cup
The measuring cup (18o ml) contains two scales. One shows the content in
millilitres(ml), the other in "cups" (1/4 - 1/2 - 3/4 cup).
The maximum content of 180 ml or 1 cup is reached if the cup is completely full.
For the rice cooker, only the cup measurement scale is used.
Temperature control
The appliance uses an integral temperature control. Once the water has completely
evaporated, the unit automatically switches the keep warm function.
Selector switch
The selector switch can be used to switch between the cooking and keep-warm
functions.
The switch cannot operate unless the rice container is correctly fitted inside the housing.

Cooking rice
 Place the rice container into the rice pot.
 Use the cup to measure the desired quantity of rice (between 1 and 4 cups) into the
rice container.
 Add 2 cups of water for each cup of rice. For the first few times you may need to
experiment to achieve the result you desire.
