3. Reset Function
The lock has been set to open at 0-0-0-0 at the factory. You may reset the opening combination to your
preference as following:
a. Turn the dial to 0-0-0-0
b. Hold the reset button and press down the cable head
c. Turn the dials to the combination you prefer
d. Press down the cable trigger and pull out the cable head
e. Your personal combination is now ready to use
Installation example:
Lock:
1. Install the Notebook locking adaptor
2. Pull out the cable from the retractable cable lock and adjust the length while pressing down the cable
trigger.
3. Allow the cable head to go through the hole in the locking adaptor and then around a secure object to
anchor in place.
4. Insert the cable head into the locking port until you hear a "click" sound. Now turn and scramble the
combination dials.
Open:
1. Turn the dials to the opening combination and press the release button to pop out the cable head
2. Pull the cable out of the locking adapter and press the cable trigger to retract the cable
3. Uninstall the device locking adaptor, if necessary
