SECUMAR Lifeline

Important information
Safety harness and safety lines for fixture on sport boats are designed for preventing the user from
going overboard. They are no fall arrest devices!
Make sure you choose suitable fixing points on board. Attachment points must withstand loads of
more than 1t.
Only use your Lifeline in combination with safety harness and life jackets with integrated Lifebelt
according to EN 1095 and EN ISO 12401.
1. Fields of application
The SECUMAR Lifeline is available in two size classes, depending on the weight of the user.
Sizes 1 and 2 (for adults and children with a weight of more than 20 kg):
SECUMAR Lifeline 2040 LL
SECUMAR Lifeline X-Treme
Size  (for small children up to a weight of 20 kg):
SECUMAR Lifeline 25 LL

The SECUMAR Lifeline is designed for securing a person on board. To that end, the Lifeline is
fixed to a suitable fixing point on board and a D-ring of the safety harness or life jacket.
SECUMAR Lifeline 25 LL, Class :
In the case of the Lifeline for small children, the side with the snap hook is fixed on board. The
loop is threaded in the D-ring or back handle of the safety harness or life jacket.
In the case of children, adjust the safety harness properly and choose the fixing point such that the
children cannot remove the Lifeline without an adult's help. For radius of mobility, refer to Figure .
