Rotate the knob (6) to the required toasting level.
•
The positions of the knob (6) permit to obtain:
-
Positions 1-2: light toasting
-
Positions 3-4: medium toasting
-
Positions 5-6: strong toasting

Start the appliance by lowering the lever (5) until it is engaged with a
"click" (Fig. C).
While using for the fi rst time, it is recommended to select an inter-
mediate position (4-5) of the knob (6) so as to check toasting level
reached according to personal taste.

At the end of the toasting cycle, the lever (5) automatically lifts up to its
home position and the appliance switches off (Fig. D).
•
To interrupt the program before its end, press the "
Do not force the lever (5) to stop the cycle. When the appliance is
switched off by unplugging it, the lever (5) raises automatically.
It is not possible to fi x the lever (5) in the ON position when the plug
isn't properly connected to the power socket.

After cooking, take out tongs (3) and remove the toast by making it
slide onto a plate, or using a suitable tool.
Attention!
Burn hazard. Do not use your bare hands to
take toast out of tongs (3).

After each use, disconnect the plug from the power socket.
Do not put food or other objects for heating or defrosting on the top
of the appliance (Fig. F). The obstruction, even partial, of the cooking
slot openings may compromise the correct function of the appliance
and its safety.
If the toast gets jammed in the cooking slot, disconnect the plug from
the socket and lightly remove the toast by facilitating tongs (3) com-
ing out. Do not force tongs out to avoid damaging the appliance.
