Take any leaking batteries out of the product

immediately. Clean the contacts before you
insert a new battery.
The batteries may not be charged or reacti-

vated with other means and they may not be
disassembled, thrown in a fi re, submerged in
a liquid or short-circuited.
Avoiding damage to materials, proper-
ty and the product

Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as sto-
ves or ovens to prevent damage to the product. Do not
place any open fl ames, e.g. burning candles, in the direct
vicinity of the product.

Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to
strong percussions.
■
Only use the product in enclosed areas.
■
Ensure that the product can not get wet or fall in water.
Dust off the product with a soft, dry cloth to clean it. Heavi-
ly laden dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

Use suitable mounting material to hang up the product.
■
Hang the product in a place that is safe, secure and dry.
■
Before you drill a hole, ensure that there are no pipes or
other lines beneath the intended drilling site.
■
Store the product in a dry area that is out of the reach of child-
ren and animals and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
■
If the product is defective, do not attempt to repair it your-
self. In the event of damage, contact the customer service
department.
