Wiring Diagram of the Luminus Controller
For the controller to work properly, it must be applied a voltage between
12V DC and 24V DC in the Input 1 (IN) (described in Figure 1).
The two channels of the controller work independently, and it can be
applied in the Input 1 (IN) a voltage different from the voltage applied in the
Input 2 (IN). The maximum value of the voltage of the Output 1 (OUT) is the
voltage applied in the Input 1 (IN). The maximum value of the Output 2
(OUT) is the voltage applied in the Input 2 (IN).

Installation and Safety Instructions
- Always protect the power supply from the electric current before any
installation or maintenance of your controller.
- While installing the controller, make sure there is enough space on the
sides to connect the power supply and the lamps.
- When the controller is positioned, connect the lamps to the controller
connecting them to the right connectors in the control unit.
- Once assembled and connected according to the instructions, you can
connect to the mains.
- WARNING! The Luminus controller is not waterproof. Do not install above
the aquarium or in any position where it can accidentally fall in water, or
touch water.
- Do not use the device if it is damaged, does not work correctly, fall or touch
water.
- Do a "drip loop" with the cable to avoid water from running through the
cable and touch the Luminus controller.
WARNING! The current of the transformer must correspond to the current
required by the luminaires. For example: For two luminaires of 2.5A each, a
5A transformer is required.
- Do not disassemble the controller. This action invalidates the warranty.
- The Luminus controller does not need any maintenance. However, you
can clean it with a soft and damp cloth.
Controller Operating Mode
The controller allows two different operating modes:
- In manual mode, the user can turn on and off manually the lighting
system(s).
Input/Output: 12VDC to 24VDC, Ø2.1 DC Socket
