4. OPERATION
Preparing for use
This blender is designed to process small
quantities of foodstuff and should not be
used for any other purpose.
Before using for the first time, clean the
casing of the motor with a damp cloth.
Wash the shaft and the blade in hot, soapy
water; do not immerse the upper part of the
shaft. Dry all the pieces thoroughly.
IMPORTANT: Before fitting or removing any
of the parts of this blender, unplug it from
the mains.
Operating the blender
The blender is suitable for processing
light foodstuffs, such as preparing sauces,
soups, mayonnaise or purées.
Fit the accessory that you are going to use
to the motor casing, turning it in an anti-
clockwise direction until it is properly and
securely fitted.
Once the mixer base is fitted (4), plug the
blender into the mains. Place the food to
be processed in a suitable container and
place the blender in the position shown in
Figure 2. Push the on/off switch (1). If using
models B-520PA, B-525MA, B-620M and
B-625MA, select the speed by turning the
speed control (7). If necessary, push the
Turbo button (2) to blend at high speed.
Operating the whisk
Push the whisk into the blender coupling
until it locks (Fig. 5). Afterwards, connect
it to the body of the blender (Fig. 6). Place
the blender in the container, connect the
plug to the mains and push the on/off
switch to begin beating. Use the speed
control to select the speed (models
B-520PA, B-505MA, B-525MA and B-625MA
only) or push the Turbo button.
You may use the jug (13) or another container
for whisking. The contents of the bowl can be
stored using the corresponding lid.
Operating the chopper (models B-505MA,
B-520 PA, B-525MA, B-625MA)
The chopper may be used with dried
fruits, herbs, hard-boiled eggs, dry bread,
etcetera.
Fit the chopper blade (12) on the bowl's
shaft. Place the ingredients to be chopped
into the chopping bowl. Fit the motor body
(3) onto the blender coupling (8), turning it
anticlockwise until it fits firmly into place.
Fit the blender coupling (8) onto the mincer
lid (10) (fig. 3). Insert the plug into a mains
socket and push the on/off switch. Use the
speed control (7) to select a speed (models
B-520PA, B-525MA, B-620M and B-625MA
only) or push the Turbo button (2) to chop
more rapidly. Once you have finished
chopping, make sure that you remove the
blade from the bowl before emptying out
the contents.
Once you have finished chopping, you can
store the contents of the bowl by using the
multi-purpose lid (15) to seal it hermetically.
Afterwards you can serve the contents
by turning the revolving part of the multi-
purpose lid until it coincides with the holes
prepared in the fixed part of the lid (Fig. 4).
