Dismantling and disposal
The symbols on the product, the accessories and packaging
indicate that this appliance must not be treated as normal
municipal waste but must be collected separately! Dispose of the
appliance at a collection point for the recycling of waste electrical
and electronic equipment if you live within the EU or in another
European country that operates separate collection systems for
waste electrical and electronic equipment. By disposing of the appliance in the
proper manner, you will help to avoid possible hazards to the environment and
public health that could otherwise be caused by improper treatment of waste
equipment. The recycling of materials contributes to the conservation of natural
resources. Therefore do not dispose of your old electrical and electronic equipment
with normal municipal waste.
The outer packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be
disposed of at your local recycling facility. By disposing of the packaging and
packaging waste in the proper manner, you will help to avoid possible hazards to
the environment and public health. The symbol on the outer packaging indicates
that the packaging is made of PAP.
8.1 Dismantling the cooker hood
To dismantle the cooker hood:
1.
Make sure that the on/off switch is in the "0" position.
2.
Disconnect the power supply from the wall socket.
3.
Remove the cooker hood from the wall or cabinet.
4.
Remove the filters. Dispose of the filters at a collection point for the recycling of
waste electrical and electronic equipment.
5.
Remove the motor. Dispose of the motor at a collection point for the recycling of
waste electrical and electronic equipment.
6.
Dispose of the rest of the cooker hood at your local recycling facility.
