5. Insert the mains plug into an easily accessible, correctly installed mains socket.
6. Now you can turn the lamp on and off. Therefore set the On/Off switch to position I (on)
or position 0 (out).

Changing the Bulb

ATTENTION!
❐ Please always grab the base of the bulb (as shown in fi gure).
❐ Don't get into direct contact with the bulb by changing. Always use handkerchiefs or
gloves. Otherwise the lifetime of the tube lights will be decreased.
❐ Let the bulb always cool down completely before changing it.
❐ Always remove the plug from the mains socket before changing the bulb.
❐ Do only use bulbs, which correspond to the technical data (see section "Technical Data").

1. Remove the plug from the mains socket.
2. Turn the head of lamp so you can insert the bulb without problems.
3. Pull the old bulb carefully out of the lamp holder and take it off the mounting.

Cleaning and Storage

ATTENTION!
❐ Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the lamp.
❐ Let the lamp always cool down completely before cleaning it or putting it away.
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the lamp. These
could damage the surface.
• If necessary, clean the lamp with a soft, dry cloth.
• Store the lamp on a dry, clean place, which is inaccessible to children.
4. Insert the new bulb into the lamp holder and press it care-
fully, as illustrated, into the mounting. It has to snap in
acoustically.
