• Please lay the razor on a cool, dry surface when charging.
• Insert the jack of the mains cable in the mains socket on the razor and insert the plug in
a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz socket.
• The red control lamp shows that the shaver is being charged and remains on until the
shaver is disconnected from the mains power supply.
Note: The lamp does not provide any indication of the charging status of the battery.
• Leave the shaver to charge for at least 16 hours before using for the fi rst time. It takes
from 14 to 16 hours for a fl at battery to be charged.
• Take the protection cap off the device before use.
• Shift the on/off switch up (towards the shearing head) to switch on the device.
• Use the trimmer on the back of the device to cut long hair.
• Push the release button upwards until the trimmer comes off.
• Run the shearing blade across the surface to be cut with the blade lying fl at against it to

remove the remaining hair.
• After use switch the device off with the on/off switch and push the release button in until
the trimmer fi ts back into place.
Note: It is not possible to use the device from the mains if the battery is completely fl at.
Mains operation is only possible when the minimum charging capacity has been
reached after 1-2 minutes.
• Switch the device off with the on/off switch and pull out the plug.
• Press the release button to remove the blade.
• Clean the razor with the supplied cleaning brush.
Attention: do not touch the blades of the razor with your fi ngers!
• In order to remove hair in the gaps of the blade, use the supplied brush.
• Put the shearing blade back on after cleaning.
