6. Product overview

a) Connection configuration at the TV

• The USB plug-in mains adapter shown in the connection configuration is not en-
closed.
• The USB plug-in mains adapter shown in the diagram is designed to power the renk-
Cast 2 if your TV does not have a suitable USB port that delivers a current of 1 A.
Step 1: Connect the USB cable with the built-in Wi-Fi antenna to the "Micro-USB
IN" port on the renkCast 2.
Step 2: Connect the USB plug on the other end of the cable to a USB port on your TV
(with a power supply) or a USB power adapter.
Step 3: Connect the renkCast 2 to an HDMI port on your TV.
Step 4: Use your TV remote to select the corresponding HDMI source and display
the video/audio signal from the dongle.
Step 5: To connect your TV to the Internet and access a wide range of addition-
al features, connect the renkCast 2 to an available Wi-Fi network. A list of
available Wi-Fi networks will be displayed when you select the correspond-
ing HDMI source on your TV.
