This appliance is for household use. The device must be placed on
a stable, flat surface. This device should only be used under adult
supervision. This device is not intended to be used by persons (in-
cluding children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabi-
lities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of this device by a
person responsible for their safety. To protect children against the
dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised.
Therefore, select a spot for your device in such a way that children
cannot reach and make sure that the cable does not hang down.
First use.
Before first use the machine must be cleaned as described in the
section "Cleaning and care". Make sure the unit is placed on a flat,
stable and heat-resistant surface with adequate space around it
for the escape of heat and adequate ventilation. Insert the plug
into the socket and let it heat. On first use there may be some odor
and smoke, this is normal.
