■ If a battery leaks, never allow skin, eyes, or mucous mem-
branes to come into contact with battery acid. Wear pro-
tective gloves if necessary. In case of contact with battery
acid, rinse the aff ected areas immediately with plenty of
clean water and seek immediate medical help.
WARNING – fi re hazard
■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily fl amma-
ble, poisonous or explosive substances.
■ Do not use the device near highly fl ammable materials
(curtains, textiles, etc.).
■ Do not use the device with extension cables or multiple
socket strips.
■ In case of fi re: Do not put out with water! Smother fl ames
with a fi re-proof blanket or put out using a suitable fi re
extinguisher.
NOTICE – risk of material and property damage
■ Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■ When changing batteries, pay attention to the polarity (+ / –).
■ Remove the battery if it is used up or if the remote control
is not going to be used for a long time. This helps prevent
damage from leaks.
■ Remove leaking batteries immediately.
■ The battery must not be charged or reactivated by other
means, taken apart, thrown into fi re, submerged in liquids
or short-circuited.
■ Only connect the device to properly installed sockets that
match the technical data of the device. The socket must
also be easily accessible after connection, so that the net-
work connection can be quickly disconnected.
