5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

5.1.

GENERAL MENU DESCRIPTION

1. Switch on the instrument by pressing the Joystick key J or the Trigger key T.
2. Move the J key to "MENU" to enter the general menu. The following screen appears on
the display:

disable (OFF) the built-in white LED illuminator upon pressing the T key.
4. Press the J key to confirm selection and go on to next item.
5. The symbol "UV" flashes on the display. Move the J key to "+" or "-" to enable (ON) or
disable (OFF) the UV function with built-in blue LEDs upon pressing the T key.
6. Press the J key to confirm selection and go on to next item.
7. The symbol "°C" flashes on the display. Move the J key to "+" or "-" to select
temperature measuring unit "°C" (Celsius) or "°F" (Fahrenheit).
8. Press the J key to confirm selection and go on to next item.
