Changing the rotation direction
Using the turn direction switch (4) changes the rotation direction:
• Push down from right to left – clockwise
• Push down from left to right – counter-clockwise
• Button is in between – protection against accidental start
Attention!
If you wish to change the position of the shift button, first check
that the switch button is released
Note:
You may hear a loud click when you first use the device after
changing the rotation direction This is normal and does not indi-
cate a problem
Work mode set-up (ASR 200-3SB model only)
Select the work mode (work performance) by pressing and releas-
ing the switch button (3) and then repeatedly pressing the work
mode selection button (5a) on the work mode selection panel (5)
The options for setting up individual work modes and the LED indi-
cator overview on the work mode selection panel (5) is described
below:
Work mode 1 (GREEN):
Both LED signals are turned on green (constant light)
Suitable for tightening and loosening screw joints in the M4 to M10
range
Maximum tightening torque: up to 120 Nm
Work mode 2 (RED):
Both LED signals are turned on red (constant light) The device
work performance will increase by an average of up to 100 %
Suitable for tightening and loosening screw joints in the M10 to
M20 range
Maximum tightening torque: up to 260 Nm
Work mode 3 (AUTO MODE):
Both LED signals are blinking red and green Allows you to gradu-
ally and safely guide a screw/bolt/self-tapping screw into material
and then tighten it quickly Tightening speed resets automatically
according to the load from slow speed (for guiding) to the max-
imum speed (for tightening) Suitable for construction work: in
other words, soft, as well as hard driving of screws, in combination
with the AD S12/HEX (AD-ASR 14) transfer adapter
Maximum tightening torque: up to 260 Nm
Note:
The work mode LED indicator (5b) will automatically shut off about
1 minute after the work is finished
Tool fastening
When mounting tools, always make sure that these attachments
are mounted on a ½" spindle (6) or to a transfer adapter all the way
(14)
Mounting a belt clip
Place the machine on a horizontal surface (eg a working table)
Slide the bent end of the belt clip (11) into the base for the belt
clip (13) Secure the belt clip (11) using a fastening screw (12) and
a corresponding screwdriver You can mount the belt clip to the
machine from the right, as well as the left side Be careful not to
mount the belt clip the wrong way round The belt clip position
must correspond to the illustration
"RED DOTS" LED Indicator (8)
Battery charge status (capacity) indication:
Is activated automatically once you press the switch button (3)
The LED light is on the entire time the machine is working It turns
off immediately once the switch button is released The following
lights up depending on the battery charge status (capacity):
• The battery is fully charged, all three status LED indicator lights
turn on
22
• The battery capacity has exceeded 60 %, two red LED indicator
lights turn on (the middle and the right)
• The battery capacity has exceeded 30 %, only one red LED in-
dicator light turns on (the right)
Reversible defect indication
• Low battery voltage indicator – this can occur when the bat-
tery voltage nears a dangerous level, useful for its repeated,
proper and safe recharge The control system disconnects the
engine and all the three LED indicator lights start blinking red
Release the switch button and press it again If the problem
persists, take the battery out of the machine and insert it into
the charger to recharge it Place another (replacement) battery
into the machine and continue working
• Excess load indicator – this can occur as a result of too much
power, eg during high torque levels, when the machine is
jammed etc The control system disconnects the engine and
all the three LED indicator lights start blinking red To turn the
machine on again, release the switch button and then press it
again
• Overheating indicator – this can occur during long-term ex-
cessive use The control system disconnects the engine and all
the three LED indicator lights start blinking red To turn on the
machine again, you have to let it cool down Cool down time
depends on how overheated it is
Irreversible defect indication
May occur as a result of a combination of factors eg during a
short circuit, engine failure, battery failure etc All three LED indi-
cator lights begin blinking red If the machine cannot be turned
on as per the above, bring it including the battery to your nearest
authorised service centre
