Operation
Drum brake
The brake stops cable pay-out and rewind-
ing after every drum rotation. You can
switch on/off the brake by turning the brake
screw (Item 3).
With brake _ screw flush.
Without brake _ brake screw screwed in
(approx. 2 mm).
Free cable length a:
The free cable length a can be adjusted by
setting the cable stopper (Item 5).
On reels with integrated thermal protec-
tion:
Allow the reel to cool down after the ther-
mal switch has tripped (Item 7) (for approx.
15 mins.). Switch on again by pressing the
pushbutton.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Clean the cable (Item 4) dry at regular
intervals. Make sure that no dirt enters
the cable inside the housing.
• If the cable cannot be rewound fully
because the sheath sticks:
Apply a light coating of silicone or
soapstone powder.

any claim to warranty cover.
Warranty
The warranty is valid for one year from
the date of purchase. Damage caused by
wear, nonobservance of the user specifica-
tions and external influences are excluded
from the warranty.
