MAINTENANCE

This appliance does not require any special maintenance. Disconnect the plug from
the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it. In order to clean
the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth. Never use abrasives or chemical
solvents. Do not use very wet substances, liquids or cloths to prevent water from
entering into the apparatus and irreparably damaging it.
Once not in use the cable can be stored on the bottom of the appliance; make sure
that the appliance has cooled down completely before storing it in the box.
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.

SAFETYPROTECTIVEDEVICES

1.OVERHEAT PROTECTION SYSTEM
The power to the heater will automatically cut off if the temperature of the heater
exceeds a certain limit. In the event of overheating, the heater will stop operating,
switch the heater off and allow it to completely cool. The heater will then resume
operating as normal.
2. TIP-OVER PROTECTIVE SWITCH
When you use the heater in an upright position on a flat and stable surface, the tip-
over protect switch will be on. In the event the heater is knocked over, the heater
will stop functioning automatically.

ATTENTION:

• Do not override the Tip-over Protective Switch as this may cause a hazard.
• Using the unit on a deep pile carpet may activate the tip-over protective switch.
