Safety instructions for electric heater
The product is designed for use by
persons aged 16 or older.
This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with redu-
ced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.Children shall
not play with the appliance.
Children are not allowed to carry
out cleaning or user maintenance
unless under supervision.
Children younger than 3 years
must be kept away from the
apparatus unless under constant
supervision.
Children aged between 3 and 8
years are not allowed to switch
the apparatus on or off unless
under supervision or after in-
struction on its safe use, including
awareness of potential hazards,
provided also the apparatus is po-
sitioned or installed as for normal
use. Children aged between 3 and
8 years shall not plug in or operate
the apparatus or clean it and/or
carry out user maintenance.
Caution – certain parts of the
product may get hot enough to
cause burns.
Particular caution is called for if
children and persons requiring
protection are present.
The heater may not be set up
immediately underneath a wall
socket.
Set up the device in such a way
that the mains plug can be ac-
cessed at all times.
Do not use this heater in immedi-
ate proximity to a bath, shower or
a swimming pool.
The controls must not be touched
by a person who is under a sho-
wer, with a container that is filled
with fluid, or in the bath.
Never operate/touch the device
with wet hands.
Do not use this heater with a
program switch, a time switch, a
separate remote control system
or any other device that automa-
tically switches the heater on, as
there is a risk of fire if the heater is
covered or set up incorrectly.
