To lift, slide the handle over the operating lever (A), guiding the cut-out past the rivet then twist the handle
to lock in place. Ensure the handle is locked, failure to do so could cause you serious personal injury if the
handle slips during use. To lift (or pull) crank the handle back and forth. The cable will be drawn in on each
back stroke. If the load is greater than the unit is designed for, the shear pin(s) in the operating handle will
give way and render the unit inoperative. If this happens, you will be able to lower the load safely but you
must then contact your local dealer for advice. If lifting, lift the load a nominal distance to check balance
and security of the load. Raise the load for the minimum of time, try to lower the load as soon as possible.
DO NOT leave the load suspended or unattended for any reason.
When you are ready to lower (or release) the load, place the telescopic handle on to the reversing lever (B) or and
again crank the handle back and forth. The cable will be drawn out on each forward stroke. You can increase the lifting
or pulling capacity by following the guides opposite.
EQUIPMENT CARE
If the hoist is not working good, contact your local dealer for advice.
Keep the equipment clean,
If the hoist inside is dirty, then immerse the machine in a bath of detergent. Do not use ACETONE TRICHLORIDE or
other acids which can damage metal parts. Note, make sure there are no grease or oils between the two jaws, this
allows the cable to go to slip. Maintenance should be done by a certified company like REMA Holland BV.
FINISHING OFF
Lower any raised load and detach from the cables hook. Next push in the rope release catch and move the rope
release lever fully back to disengage the grip jaws. Pull the winch cable out all the way, then carefully wind it onto its
transit frame. Detach the winch from its suspension/anchorage point and place complete with handle ready for return
to your local ealer.
