Changing batteries
When the can opener gets slower during the cutting process, or stops working
entirely, you should change the batteries. When doing this, proceed according
to the information given in the "Insert batteries" section of this document,
replacing the empty batteries with new ones.
Service and cleaning
• Do not submerge the device in water or wash it up under running
water.
• Do not use any solvents or aggressive detergents on the device.
1. Take the battery cover from the device and remove the batteries.
2. If necessary, clean the cutting blade with a damp cloth and, if required,
some gentle washing up liquid. Be careful: the blade is sharp!
. Afterwards, dry the blade thoroughly with a dry cloth.

required, some gentle washing up liquid.
Fixing faults / troubleshooting
Problem
The can opener is
jammed.
Press the reverse button on the device in order to
separate the jammed can opener.
Potential cause
A can with a
misshapen edge may
cause the can
opener to become
stuck.

Remedy
Hold down the reverse
button on the can opener.
This will cause it to move
backwards. Only let it go
when it stops.
