Remove / Dispose of Rechargeable Batteries
This appliance is equipped with a rechargeable Ni-MH battery.
Remove the battery before disposing of the appliance.
As a consumer you are legally bound to return exhausted batteries/
rechargeable batteries.
WARNING:
Disconnect from mains power supply before removing the battery!
• Use a small crosshead screwdriver to remove the screws inside the appliance.
• Pry both halves of the housing apart using a screwdriver, thereby destroying the
appliance.
• Remove the rechargeable batteries.
• Cut the wires to the batteries with a pair of scissors.
Return the battery at a collection point for batteries and/or hazardous waste. Ask your
municipality for further information.
