Deutsch (Originalbetriebsanleitung)

DANGER
Misuse and explosive environment. Explosion haz-
ard! Risk of burns! Ignoring this message will lead
to serious injuries or death. Not for use in category
1/zone 0 and zone 20. Use only in permitted catego-
ries/zones. Use device only in accordance with the
operating conditions defined in the mounting and
wiring instructions. Use device only in accordance
with the intended purpose defined in the mounting
and wiring instructions.
The wireless switches of series Ex RF BF 80 EN868 comply with the
European standards for explosion protection EN 60079-0 and EN
60079-11 and therefore are designed for the explosive areas as per EN
60079-14. The requirements of EN 60079-14, e.g. regarding dust depo-
sition and temperature limits, must be met. The one channel wireless
switch is used to switch electrical loads via radio transmission. The
transmission is carried out at a frequency of 868.3 MHz. The receiver
must conform to the EnOcean protocol of the PTM- and STM-modules.
Installation / Mounting / Dismantling

DANGER
Explosive atmosphere. Explosion hazard! Risk of
burns! Ignoring this message will lead to serious
injuries or death. Connecting and disconnecting
only to be performed by qualified and authorised
personnel. Connecting and disconnecting only in
non-explosive atmospheres. Open device in non-ex-
plosive atmosphere only.

DANGER
Leakage caused by untight cover. Explosion hazard!
Risk of burns! Ignoring this message will lead to
serious injuries or death. Tighten the cover appro-
priately. Oberserve tightening torque max. 1.4 Nm.
Mount the wireless switch on an even surface. The wireless switch
must be installed according to the mounting and wiring instructions
of the receiver. Accordingly, the wireless range depends on the lo-
cal conditions. Thus, the radio signal can be strongly affected by
conductive materials. This also includes thin foils, e.g. aluminium
laminations on insulation materials. A test with the field strength in-
dicator EPM 300, Material number 1187179, should be carried out. Ty-
pical wireless ranges are:
Sight connection in free field: approx. 300 m
Sight connection in walkways: approx. 30 m
Sight connection in halls: approx. 100 m
Steel concrete walls: approx. 10 m through 1 wall
Brick walls: approx. 20 m through max. 3 walls
Application / Operation

DANGER
Explosive atmosphere. Explosion hazard! Ignoring
this message will lead to serious injuries or death.
Protective cover over contacts must be intact.
- Use device only within the permitted electrical load limits (see tech-
nical data).
- Use device only within the permitted ambient temperature range (see
product label and technical data).
Cleaning
=
DANGER
Water ingress leads to short circuit. Explosion
hazard! Ignoring this message will lead to serious
injuries or death. Clean in accordance with protec-
tion class IP 65.
