• In schools and educational institutes, and in hobby and
self-help workshops, the handling of measuring instru-
ments must be supervised responsibly by trained person
nel.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying
around, as it could become a dangerous toy for children.
• Do not attempt to repair the measuring instrument your
self.
• Never expose it to extreme heat or humidity.
• Hold the voltage tester only by the grips provided for
this purpose. Never hold it beyond the palpable ends of
the grips.
• Check the function of the voltage checker before
each measurement. Measure a known voltage source

and check the accuracy of the display. The voltage
checker may no longer be used if one or more of the
display ranges fail.
• The voltage checker may only be used on systems
within the specified voltage ranges.
• The next higher voltage range begins to light up from
0.85 x the nominal value.
• The valid limit value for dangerous contact voltage in
the case of DC voltage (according to DIN VDE 0100 Part
410) is indicated by the 120 V indicator lamp.
• The valid limit value for dangerous contact voltage in
the case of AC voltage (according to DIN VDE 0100 Part
410) is indicated by the 50 V indicator lamp.
• There is no signal if there is a break in the neutral (N) or
earth (PE) cable!
