SAFE OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
The device must be used for its intended purpose, in
accordance with this manual.
• Any modification of the device is prohibited.
• Do not expose the thermometer to mechan-
ical influences and do not use it if damaged.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other
liquids.
• Do not use the device near high electromag-
netic radiation sources, for example, near
wireless sources or cellular phones.
• Do not allow children to play with the ther-
mometer.
• Do not expose the thermometer to direct
sunlight, heat, moisture, or dirt.
• Replace the batteries when needed.
• The environmental temperature in the apart-
ment may differ in various rooms. Before
measuring temperature, the user and the
thermometer should stay in the same room
(premises) with constant environmental
conditions for at least 15 minutes.
• Before
remove any dirt, hair or sweat from the
measuring area.
• Do not measure temperature during or
straight after nursing.
• The user should not take food or drink
immediately prior or during temperature
measurement.
• Do not pocket the thermometer before use
as it can be heated.
• Every time before starting measurement,
please make sure that the measuring sensor
lens is not contaminated. In case of contami-
nation, clean the measuring sensor lens.
