Operation

USB mode

The device has an internall memory of 24MB and a SD card slot. If you don't have a SD card on hand you are
able to scan a small amount of photos to the internal memory.

Settings

The menu settings show the following items: format of the SD card or internal memory and the options for the
video mode( PAL or NTSC).
Connect the device to the USB port of your computer. Turn the
device on and select USB mode in the main menu.
The hardware assistant of your computer will setup the device as a
mass storage device.
It is possible to transfer the photos to the computer and fi nally delete
the photos in the internal memory.
If a SD card is located in the card slot the „My Place" or „Computer"
shows the SD card instead of the internal memory.
These photos can be easily transferred to the computer.
After the photos have been copied and the SD card or the internal
memory has been deleted you can continue to scan slides or nega-
tives.
While the device is connected to the computer, the display shows an
USB icon on the display.
