● For details on how to use each component, check the separate User's manual published by SHIMANO INC.
● The firmware of each individual component and the system can be updated and customized by connecting the PC and bicycle (system
or components) using the PC connected device, and using E-tube Project that is published by SHIMANO INC. If maintenance on devices
related to SHIMANO Di2 is required, use the following PC connected device and application to perform maintenance.
● PC connected device: SM-PCE1/SM-BCR2
● E-tube Project: PC application
● Firmware: software for each component
● If the configuration of components changes, or defective operation is observed, use the E-tube Project software to update to the newest
firmware for each component, and then check the configuration again, or whether defective operation is still observed. When doing so,
check that the E-tube Project software is also updated to the newest version. If the newest version is not used, there may be compatibility
issues between components or a lack of product functionality.
