 INSTRUCTION MANUAL
o
This Fondue Set is ideally suited for Fondue Chinoise (with bouillon) or Fondue
Bourguignonne (with oil).
 BEFORE USING THE FONDUE SET FOR THE FIRST TIME
o
Carefully take all of the parts out of the packaging.
o
Wash the fondue pan, the forks and the holder for the forks with a soft cloth and a
little bit of soapy water. Never use sharp or abrasive cleaning products.
o
Only wipe the rechaud with a damp cloth.
o
Allow all the parts to dry completely.
 HOW TO USE YOUR FONDUE SET
o
Place the rechaud (1) on a table or another even surface.
o
Before plugging it in, make sure that the thermostat knob (6) is not turned on (on
MIN setting completely to the left).
o
Fill the pan (2) with the ingredients you want and place it on the rechaud. (Only use
the original rechaud supplied to heat up liquids in the pan).
o
Make sure when you are making Fondue Bourgignon that you only fill the oil up to
the MAX level marked on the pan.
o
Now turn the rechaud on by turning the thermostat knob (6) to the temperature
you want.
o
The indicator light (5) will turn on. When the light goes out, this means that the set
temperature has been reached. Please note that the indicator light will switch on
and off during the cooking process. This means that the temperature is always
maintained at a constant.
o
When the liquid has reached the set temperature, you can put the fork holder (3)
on the pan and start the fondue.
 NOTE:
o
CAUTION: The rechaud, the pan and the fork holder become very hot during use.
o
The minimum temperature is approx. 100°C, the maximum temperature is approx.
200°C.
o
Fondues with hot oil: Take extra care to make sure the food is not wet or frozen;
this can make the oil froth up.
o
Do not throw the food into the hot liquid. Always use the forks, if possible.
o
Make sure that you move the forks slowly and carefully in the oil, so that you do not
scratch of the protective coating of the pan.
