The following table lists possible problems and the recommended
solutions.
Problem
Can't see another Bluetooth
device within range.
Can't make multiple
connections.
Can't connect to a service
provided by a remote device.
Can't determine which
services I'm connected to.

Solving Problems
Solution
The other device may be in Nondiscoverable
mode. Check the status of the other device
and perform a new search when the other
device is in Discoverable mode.
Check to see if your device is participating as
a slave device. Change your device to master
within the Piconet.

Make sure the other device is in
Discoverable mode and
Connectable mode.

Make sure the service is not being used
by another device.

Check to see if you are already
connected to a similar service provided
by a third party.
I
Check to see if the other device is a slave
in another Piconet.
Look for a "Connected" status in the Explorer
View or right-click the remote Bluetooth device
icon in the Bluetooth Neighborhood and look
for the "Disconnect Service_Name." If all
services have a "Connect Service_Name,"
there are no active connections.
