WARNING - KEEP THE
BATTERY FOR THE REMOTE
CONTROL OUT OF THE REACH
OF CHILDREN.
A swallowed battery can cause injury
or even death.
If you suspect a child has swallowed
a battery, seek medical advice
immediately (Australia: Poisons
Information Centre, Tel. 13 11 26;
NZ: National Poisons Centre,
Tel. 0800 764 766).
Examine the remote control and
make sure the battery compartment
is correctly secured, e.g. that the
screws are tightened. Do not use if
the compartment is not secure or the
casing of the remote control is
damaged.
Store new and used batteries in a
safe place. Even flat batteries can
still be dangerous.
Dispose of used batteries
immediately and safely in a suitable
recycling box for batteries.
Cleaning the remote control
Only clean the surface with a damp
cloth. Do not use too much water to
avoid moisture penetrating the
casing.

Changing the battery
Use only the type of battery listed.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
The remote control requires one
3 V CR 2032 battery.
The battery must be changed if cooker
hood functions can no longer be
selected using the remote control. If the
control lamp on the remote control no
longer lights up or lights up only weakly
when a button is pressed, the battery is
exhausted.
Cooker hood functions can still be
selected using the controls on the
cooker hood.
Use a screwdriver to loosen the two
screws on the back and remove the
cover.
Remove the old battery and replace
with a new one. Make sure the
polarity is correct.
Refit the cover and secure with the
two screws.
