SUPPLEMENTARY HEATING:
If the performance of the heat pump is not sufficient by for example sustained major tapping of water or heating after an
interruption of the heat pump, the upper part of the tank can be heated quickly by using the electrical heating element. The
heating element is activated by the menu "H.pump" choosing "EL" alone or with heat pump "HP + EL". T-Min is set to
the desired minimum temperature. When water temperature is below T-Min the heating element will help with the heating
until the temperature T-min is reached. The heating element is equipped with a safety- and operational thermostat. The
safety thermostat switch off when it reaches 75/85 °C. If the safety function has been interrupted it must be reset manually.
It should only be performed by an installer. With regard to the location of the heating element, refer to page 5 where there
is a drawing of the pump.
