power cables must not be damaged or crushed by any
type of objects. Connect the power supply only to a
properly installed power outlet! Avoid using multiple
plugs!
When the power supply of the device is damaged or if
the device itself is damaged, it must not be operated.
Immediately unplug the power supply from the wall
outlet if liquids or other foreign matter penetrate into
the device. Before using the device again, have it
checked by a specialist.
Do not open the power supply or device under any
circumstances!
Before cleaning the network switch, disconnect it from
the power supply (unplug). Do not touch the power
supply with wet hands, danger of electric shock! In
the event of faults or smoke and smell formation
from the housing immediately pull the plug-in power
supply from the socket!
Should water or foreign objects enter the interior of
the device, or if the network switch is damaged, the
device must not be put into operation, or it must be
disconnected immediately from the power supply.
The device must be checked or repaired by a specialist
(service technician) before using it again.
Connecting
a
Computer
to
the
Network Switch
Connect the RJ45 network ports of the network switch
to the corresponding connections on your computer
(or other devices with network connections, e.g. TV,
satellite receiver, game consoles, etc.). Once the
devices are connected and the connection is correct,
the Link/Act status indicators of the corresponding
ports of the network switch on the front panel light up.
