2. Use
1. Test the transmission range (max. 100m in open air) prior to mounting the button. Plug-in the receiver and
temporarily mount the button on the doorjamb. Press the button.
2. Mount the button with double-sided tape or screws if the test was satisfactory.
Note : You may wish to change the chime. Follow the instructions below :
Warning : Unplug the receiver from the mains before opening the housing. Reseal the housing and replace the
screw before you plug the receiver in again.
• Move the two jumpers (see 1 in figure below) on the three terminals to select one of three available chimes : ding,
dingdong or "Westminster".
• If another doorbell system on the same channel interferes with the DB2's operation, you should select a new
channel for both the doorbell button and the chime. You can do this by moving the jumpers of both the doorbell
button AND the receiver (see 2 in figure below). Always use the same configuration for the button and the
receiver.
3. Select one of three bell chimes : ding, ding-dong or Westminster.
