PPLICATIONS
This 7 m long light rope with eight different light programmes can be used as party
light as well as for decoration of shop windows, salesrooms, the flat, for festivities,
etc.

AFETY
OTES
The light rope corresponds to the directive 89/ 336/EEC for electromagnetic
compatibility and the low voltage directive 73/ 23/ EEC.
The light rope uses lethal mains voltage (230 V~).
Therefore do not open the light rope. Inadequate handling may cause an
electrical shock. Further-more, any kind of guarantee expires upon opening
the light rope.
It is absolutely necessary to observe also the following points:
• For operation, take the light rope completely out of the package. Otherwise, there
will be a fire hazard caused by overheating!
• The light rope is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it from humidity and heat
(admissible ambient tem-perature 0 – 40 °C).
• Do not put the light rope into operation, or immediately pull the mains plug out
of the mains socket, if:
1. the light rope, the control unit, or the mains cable shows visible signs of damage,
2. the light rope is suspected to be defect after a fall or a similar incident,
3. there are malfunctions.
Have the light rope in any case repaired in a specialist workshop.
• A damaged mains cable must only be repaired by the manufacturer or an
authorized specialist work-shop.
• Do not pull the mains plug out of the mains socket at the mains cable.
• Only use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Never use chemicals or water.
• If the light rope is used for purposes other than originally intended or wrongly
operated, no liability can be assumed for any possible damage.
• Shall the light rope definitively be put out of operation, same has to be disposed
of in a local recycling plant.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond
with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed
as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.

1) Neem de lichtslang uit de verpakking, rol ze volledig af en leg ze zoals u wenst.
Plug de netstekker in een stopcontact (230 V~/50 Hz). Naargelang het toevallig
ingeschakelde lichtprogramma lichten de gloeilampen van de lichtslang op.
2) Keuze van het lichtprogramma Volgende programma's kunnen met de druktoets
(a) op de regeleenheid na elkaar geselecteerd worden:
1. COMBINATION = automatisch wisselen tussen verschillende programma's
2. STEADY ON = alle lampen lichten continu op
3. IN WAVES = de rode, gele en blauwe lampen worden na elkaar snel helder en
donker gedimd
4. SEQUENTIAL = de rode, gele en blauwe lampen worden na elkaar in- en
uitgeschakeld
5. CHASING/ FLASH = wisselen tussen snel flitsende en langzaam knipperende
lampen
6. SLO GLO = de rode, gele en blauwe lampen worden na elkaar langzaam aan-
en uitgedimd
7. STEP LIGHTING = de rode, gele en blauwe lampen flitsen verschillende keren
na elkaar
8. SLOW FADE = alle gloeilampen worden tegelijk helder en donker gedimd
Bij de programma's 1-3-4-6 en 8 wordt de snelheid van het effect automatisch
gewijzigd.
3) Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact om de lichtslang
uit te schakelen.
